Description of Parts
SPECIAL VALVE FOR AUTOVAC.
Origin.
To reduce effect on slow running.
Experimental Test Report.
It has been proved that when the Autovac is exhausted and very rich mixture is drawn into the induction pipe, this upsets the slow running. The makers of the Autovac recommend fitting an extra valve on the induction pipe which makes the Autovac practically inoperative when the depression in the induction pipe exceed 7 lbs.
Road Test Report.
Ran 10,000 miles on 8-EX. 12 of these fittings have been supplied for trials cars and special customers complaints - we have had no trouble with them.
