1296 To TB/EW. from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/BT.{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer}14.5.41. UNIVERSAL PATTERNS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SIX-CYLINDER ENGINES ------------------------- Thank you for TB/EW/WB.{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}12.5.41. We note your remarks about altering the existing pattern. We were under the impression that this pattern was in a somewhat dilapidated condition. The only justification for an entirely new pattern was that any one of the four sizes of engine should be able to be started off on production with the pattern, when it is finished. If you are satisfied that it will be good enough for this, then the alteration will be satisfactory. The latest drawings are being handed to you forthwith. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
