With the cross tube being set fairly high gives a consequent loss of movement in the side tube springs, although these have increased compression having been modified according to bricklewood.
Messervy, the chief tester here, who also drove the car declared the new front road springs had made little or no improvement.
The steering column on the car has the stationary tube, thrust race cover only, silver plated; the rest of the column is nickel plated.
The weight of luggage trunks carried on the 'continent' only is 2 cwts.
