Dear Sir,

ATTENTION OF R.W.HARVEY BAILEY ESQ.

Many thanks forthe interview yesterday afternoon.

The blueprint left with Mr Clough shows our proposals for the application of our 10" clutch to the 3½ L. Bentley and will we trust meet with your approval.

You will find that we have been able to work closely to your present arrangement with the exception that the striking fork shaft will have to be moved back to clear the clutch lever assembly. For the purpose of the lay-out we have had to imagine a fly-wheel which of course would be your part.

The clutch we offer should prove to be entirely free from 'judder', perfectly smooth in engagement and capable of taking care of the maximum torque. Judging by experience we have already had on double decker buses etc. we are confident you will find it an ideal clutch for London traffic work.

Yours faithfully,
for ROPER & WREAKS LIMITED.

(Sgd) F.J.Robinson.
