For the attention of Mr. Rycroft. Dear Sirs, Thank you for sending both the arrangements of possible wheel discs. Unfortunately, in making the screw-on variety we do not appear ever to have let you have an up-to-date front hub drawing, because the spider which you have made to prevent the disc turning will not fit over one of our latest hubs. This point, however, could be easily put right, and we should be glad if you would let us have a drawing of this arrangement so that we can see exactly how much you have added to the width of the car. As regards the second arrangement, i.e. the Humber scheme, we like the look of this very much and should be glad if you would let us have a quotation for the disc and chromium band together with the necessary screws and nuts, for an order of 20 sets and 300 sets. We have repainted the disc you have sent us another colour for comparison purposes, and prefer the look of it with the extreme edges painted and not chromium plated. Will you, therefore, please take this into account when making up the quotation. If you could give us an approximate quotation for the same numbers of sets of the first arrangement (we say approximate because of the slight modification required to suit the latest hubs) we should like to have this also. | ||
