Bentley V.{VIENNA} We have now determined the governor spring data for giving the characteristic requested by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/wdl.13/MH.{M. Huckerby}22.2.39. Main Spring as DW.677. Auxiliary spring as follows :- Load - 2 lb. 2 oz. + 2 oz. Radius of loading .875". Total deflected angle 170°. Free angle 148°. Mean diam. .360". Inside diam. .296" Number of effective coils 3.4 Diam. of wire 16 s.w.g. (.064").
