We have shewn on LeC.5074 a revised boss for conveying the lubrication to the front (rubber bushed) end of the spring, a separate boss being riveted on to the lower side of the second plate, instead of a boss on the upper part of the existing spring clip, as originally instructed. This change is made to overcome certain objections raised by the spring makers. We would like it incorporated in the drawing of the new spring to LeC.5070. In the meanwhile we are sending an advance print to Firth's to enable them to use it on the first springs. Could this be detailed as quickly as possible? Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
