PETO & RADFORD. CONTINUATION 2. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Bowler Clark Esq., 26th January 1927. deal above the specified curve, which touches ten amperes. We must remember that these are 50 ampere hour batteries, the proper charging rate of which is 5 amperes. On my way back we stayed some days with Mr. Royce and he had a good deal of talk about this subject and I took him out the two modified gas indicators that he wanted and we played about a good deal with these and he has got it fitted to his car out there. I think the car is 7 E.X. When I saw him at West WitteringHenry Royce's home town last November he did not seem very keen on your automatic charge reducing switch but I think now he is much more keen on it. I do not think he is at all serious about the gassing indicator although it is an amusing toy and certainly works surprisingly well in its now modified form (which is infinitely better in appearance and in every other way than the one you saw on my car). Yours sincerely, GRN murchie | ||
