Y4-22 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/KW27.12.33. 27th December, 1933. Messrs. Wilmot-Breeden, Ltd., Eastern Works, Camden Street, BIRMINGHAM 1. Dear Sirs, Further to our letter of November 21st, and the visit of our Representative, Mr. Lidsey, to your Works in Birmingham. We rang up your Works on Thursday of last week, asking if we could send the car over to you to-morrow, the 28th inst., but had no reply. As the car to which the bumper is to be fitted is a demonstration car and in daily use, we wish to avoid sending it to Birmingham before you are ready for it. Will you therefore please let us know if you will be ready to start on the job on Monday next, the 1st. You will recollect that you promised to complete your experimental investigations in about three days. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
