X No. 5661 Drawing No. Part List Origin. To improve silence of running of machine. Experimental Test Report. These armatures shew up very favourably for noise reduction. The output characteristics and appearance of the armature as compared with the standard are scarcely discernably different. See EFCL/T26.4.27. Road Test Report. Run 10,000 miles on 10-G-111 car - no trouble. It is an improvement over standard machine for noise. A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test. D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
