(2) We have fitted these water excluders to 5.B.IV and 1.B.IV. They are at the present moment being fitted to Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}'s car and a set is being prepared for Lp{Mr Lappin}'s car. We have also fitted a set to a complaint case chassis No.B181-CL in order that they may understand the difficulties which arise. We are preparing sets for Trials Cars etc. So far our experimental results have been confirmed.

(3) The increased area of friction surface on the friction arm is being fitted to Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}'s car.

(4) The more efficient servo fitted to 21.G.IV has been standardised.

(5) The question of the brakes fading has been further investigated and report Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}16/KW.5.2.35.. issued which explains the most serious instance of fading as the servo coming up against its stop. Some design work is required, but in the meantime 5.B.IV will be fitted with modifications which will reduce the chance of this trouble occurring by at least 50%.

WRAITH.
Since the design of this engine was only finished about a week ago we shall not have an engine running in the immediate future.

20/25 WORST FEATURES.

Clutch slip.
21.G.IV has gone to London fitted with a new clutch for tests in traffic.

Steering Joggles.
We have fitted 21.G.IV with Marles steering similar to that which Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} is running on his Car. We consider that it is lighter and suffers less from joggles than the standard 20/25 steering. We have stripped and examined the pieces of Marles steering which ran through 10,000 miles test. This is in perfect condition except for a thrust race which has picked up. We do not think that this thrust race trouble will prevent us
