The projecting spring boxes furthermore can be used for buffering the bump and rebound of the front wheels, and in the event of the failure of some part of the linkage or springing would serve to carry the weight of the car until it was brought to rest.

We should ask BY/NW{N. Walker - Patents} to cover the modification shewn in fig. 2 if possible.
