The position of the above is as follows :- The first block was cut up and the necessary corrections to the pattern and coreboxes made. The second block, now in the Experimental Dept., was cast in standard cylinder iron, index 12440. The third block was cast in special alloy iron, medium nickel, chrome, molybdenum, index 29440, and was delivered to the Experimental Dept. today 3.5.40. The fourth block is yet to be cast, and will be in special alloy iron, medium nickel, high molybdenum, and we will give you the index number when we deliver the block These indexes are the actual dates the blocks were cast and will be a guide for future reference on looking up their respective P.T.O. | ||
