Dear Mr. Cripps,

Thank you for your letter of 1st May, with reference to carpet edging. I note that you are looking into the matter of making up some samples for us.

Regarding the length, this should have read 58" and not 68". If it will be easier for you to manufacture two pieces 42" and two pieces 16", this would be satisfactory. My reason for asking for it in longer lengths was that I intended avoiding a joint against the centre pillar. This, however, will not matter on the sample car, if it will make it easier for you to make samples.
