SPARKING PLUGS.
3½-LITRE BENTLEY.

re Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}14/HR.14.11.34.

We did not intend to suggest that all the sparking plugs returned were actually defective. Our reason for returning them is that in each set, one or more shew signs of the insulation of the central electrode commencing to break down, so the whole set was returned for test and examination.

We considered this advisable because if the plugs are shewing a tendency to break down, the matter required dealing with before the trouble became general.

If you would return to us all those plugs which you consider to be fit for further use, we will re-issue them.
