Re Tests on SU & SV Batteries (176 & 177)
The above two batteries were put on bench tests the results of which are as follows.
SU on Low Rate Discharge through a constant external resistance of 1.80w gave 23.1 ampere hours.
SV on a similar discharge gave 38.2 ampere hours.
All the cells shewed positive weakness on the cadmium.
The batteries were fully charged & given a High Rate Discharge through a constant external resistance of .100w.
SU. Initial amperes = 101.2 amperes
Time to 100" = 2.0 mins
" " 90" = 6.5 "
" " 80" = 7.4 "
