-2- Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 8. ALUMINIUM CAMWHEEL. As the test bed is still taken up with carburettor experiments no running has yet been done on this. 9. AXLE. Pieces have been machined but lack of capacity has prevented their erection so far. The axle on 9.B.V. is reported to be noisy again. It was agreed that the 1 1/2" hypoid gears were probably the cause of the trouble and therefore the test on the .625 hypoid gear was required to settle the experiment. 10. PROPELLOR SHAFT. The balancing of shafts with Jubilee clips has so far proved successful. Until it has been proved that this cure is not permanent we shall not proceed with the balancing rig. 11. 12.B.V. GEARBOX BEARINGS. 'It was agreed that this box would not be stripped until it either became noisy or the car completed 50,000 miles. 12. UNDERSEAT HEATER. The 12 volt motor has not yet arrived. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clm.{D. D. Clapham} will find out where it is. 13. ENGINE MOUNTING. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} has various experiments which he still wants to carry out on the Ripplet 4-cyl. EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} was asked to look into the question of increasing the freedom of sideways movement on the change speed mechanism. 14. B.40. The Memo. containing the information asked for with regard to the B.40. front mounting was issued some time ago and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. will give Miss Lander the reference. 15.
