Bentley Rear Axle - Special Pinion Bearings.

Three of these pinions were fitted. All the cars have changed hands since being dealt with.

(1) B.2.GA - Trials car, now belongs to Basil Ivery Esq.,
Pinion fitted 18.2.37. mileage 22,678.
Car attended to at Works on the 14.4.37 no comments.
Test for resale at Kingsbury 28.4.37, mileage 24,794 race O.K.
Sold on the 14.6.37, mileage 27,994.
Axle O.K. Has not been heard of since.

(2) B.4.GA - Trials car, now belongs to Mr Parry,
Ductile Steel Co.Ltd., Small Heath, Wolverhampton.
Pinion fitted 23.3.37, mileage 31,344.
Came in for mods on the 7.5.37, mileage 32,881, when there was a slight grinding noise in the axle at 50 m.p.h. The thrust race was corrected for pinch.
Came in for test resale 29.6.37, mileage 35,345 no complaint. Has not been heard of since.

(3) B.175.GP. - Belonged to Mr Elliot.
Pinion fitted 8.3.37. mileage 8,813.
Came in for test resale 18.6.37 mileage 13,371 no complaint re axle. Has not been heard of since.
