Mr Nadin DATE. 7-11-12 Re Dashboard Ventilators on Colonial Cars. TBB12/L71112. With reference to your note N5/B71112 concerning a suggestion that the dashboard ventilators should not be used in conjunction with the louvred bonnet. I do not think this would be advisable. It must be remembered that we are no longer using the dashboard extension, and it is still possible for some trouble to be experienced with heat in the front seats in Colonial cars notwithstanding the use of the louvred bonnet and more effective engine guard ventilators. I think the preferable course to adopt would be to raise these ventilators say 4 or 5 inches, they would then be practically out of range of the hot air from the louvres.
