X2026. To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Sft.{Mr Swift} c. Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/KT. 8.8.33. 3½ LITRE BENTLEY. We have received a message from Hancock that he has broken a rear axle tube on the Bentley car. It is broken in the root of the flange next to the differential box on the O.S. We recommend that we hold up work on axle tubes for the time being. We are assuming also, owing to the decision made to use electrical petrol pumps, that no further work will be done on the mechanical pumps. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
