RECEIVED Sèvres/Works "HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}" WST 86006 Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/VAI2/GM.2.2.33 re: Batteries for French 20/25 HP. chassis. With further reference to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/WSJ2/MA.7.12.32, and our Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/VA3/I9.12.32, we have now received from the Slem Battery Company a battery which they have prepared and submitted for examination and which they claim could replace the standard EXIDE battery as fitted to above chassis. The battery has the same dimensions as the Exide and the makers claim it has also the same capacity. This particular battery would be known as the N°. I2.70 type, the cost price to us would be Fcs: 270.oo and sale price to customer Fcs: 690.-- (six hundred and ninety francs).
