I do not know whether Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} has told you that the proposal is now that you shall take out another Peregrine after the Christmas holidays.

You might let the men know that we shall close down and that the present car you have there will leave Chateauroux on about the 20th. December so as to be back here on the 22nd. or the 23rd.

We expect to have the new car ready for you to take out immediately after the holidays. As regards the other car J.ll, we shall have to let you know what arrangements are being made but we think it is most probable that this will go out at the same time.

Attached herewith is a copy of a note we have received from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WXKXK we should like you to arrange for this as and when convenient. We do not think there is any object in trying the present Peregrine.
