THE ZENITH CARBURETTER CO. Sheet No...4... Limited. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. 15/6/38 the petrol tank shown in the middle of the drawing, which is supplied with compressed air. In our case this tank is placed on the floor and into it the cans of petrol are emptied. The tank is then sealed, and compressed air is admitted to the tank, so that the petrol is then blown up the carburetter supply tank which is situated well above the float chamber feeding the burettes. Of course any other alternative means of getting petrol into the petrol supply tank could be used. We hope this information gives you what you want, but should we fail in any way, please let us know and we will do our best to amplify it. Should you wish to consider fully the question of air flow, we could recommend you to contact with E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Owers' book on "The Measurement of Air Flow", which is published by Messrs. Chappell & Hall Ltd., 11, Henrietta Street, London, W.C. Yours faithfully, THE ZENITH CARBURETTER CO. LTD. [Signature] AEP/KD Enc: | ||
