(8774 / x8090 We are proposing to use rollerless tappets of 1" radius, same dia. of camshaft, and lift, & rockers. We want new cam form for such tappets to give valve lift curve equal to present exhaust -LeC.1882., but slightly long - viz: 57 divisions instead of 56, between the beginning and finish of the heavy acceleration - i.e. .013 clearance: this should give - [Hand-drawn diagram of a cam profile with angles marked '3' and '45'] Probably use a few degrees later.
