Dear Mr. Grylls, In reply to your letter of Nov. 12th., our present complaint about Hardy Spicer propeller shafts is on the matter of balance rather than reliability. We have in the past three years had one or two cases of failure of these shafts, but they were due to production faults rather than anything inherent in the design. Yours sincerely, THE ROVER COMPANY LIMITED. M C Wilks Technical Department. M.C.Wilks. P.S. I could not be very informative to you on the 'phone because my office was full of representatives from a rival propeller shaft firm at the time. | ||
