Dear Sirs,

Re Willard Battery. - 6 volt.

We have a 6-volt U.S.A. Willard battery of about 120 ampere hour capacity, this being part of the standard equipment of a Marmon car which we have in our possession. One cell, however, of this battery has become sickly and, though not definitely short circuited, no amount of charging will establish the correct voltage on this cell under discharge.

The voltage is not so low as to indicate short circuit, but in the neighbourhood of about 1 volt when discharging.

It occurred to us you might be able to repair this battery. Therefore, we should like to hear if you could do this.

Yours faithfully,
