speeds only. The cut in cannot now operate, so that no charging can be done until the fuse is replaced.

B. If the cutout sticks on and the charging switch be left on, the fuse in the main circuit will go and further discharge from the battery to the dynamo will be prevented, but the battery will not be disconnected from the lights etc. If now an attempt is made to charge, the field fuse will at once go and no charging will be possible until both fuses have been replaced.

(3) That the fuses be put a little further apart so that they can be more easily taken hold of by the fingers. (This will not apply if the main circuit fuse be place in a different position, as will be explained verbally.)

(4) That a spare pair of fuse holder ready loaded be provided in the cover of the box.

(5) Further, that little containers with spare fuses be also provided.

(6) That the insulating material of the fuse holders be altered for something more suitable, if anything is to be found. With this end in view we are experimentally making up fuse holders out of various insulating material.
