X.2894 To FHC. from EFC. EFC1/T1.6.21. X.2894 - TUNGSTEN POINTS. Mr. Royce wishes us to try on the battery ignition tungsten points which allow of a rubbing action during operation. The contact breaker as at present arranged does not do this, and it is thought that this may be the reason we cannot get satisfactory results with tungsten points. We have therefore got out some sketches which we attach, and will be glad if you will make these parts to enable us to carry out these experiments. We are handing to you two blades fitted with tungsten points and shall be glad if you will prepare two blades, in accordance with the sketch, to which these tungsten points are transferred if possible.
