BY: FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} to Div HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL E1/M11.10.27. RECEIVED OCT 1927 SPORTS PHANTOM OIL LEVEL INDICATOR AND LOWER HALF CRANKCASE. X8000 X8200 We send you herewith LeC. 2473. shewing the above. This scheme clears up the oil base details, and in one or two respects calls for modifications to LeC. 2471. The oil base has been made deeper on LeC. 2473. to take full advantage of the space allowed above the road clearance line. We have now to send you particulars of the magneto base, and vacuum pump mounting, which should complete the instructions for the new crankcase. These particulars will follow shortly.
