32-EX. PHANTOM III.

Will you please re-build this car as soon as possible, incorporating the following features -

(1) Engine unit No.13 re-built to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl{Len H. Swindell}'s instructions.
(2) Existing radiator and shutters with new matrix to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. Existing hose connections.
(3) Existing flywheel and clutch. Existing thermoid facings to be refitted if possible, otherwise new thermoid facings. Latest arrangement for clutch pedal servo to N.S.5195 and RR.Sch.1113. Attend to play in link from engine to pedal shaft. Increase clearance between Trunnion and spigot to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler} instructions.
(4) Flexible engine coupling No.2 now ready for fitting.
(5) Gearbox No. 5 H.S. ex 33-EX.
(6) Standard R.R. propellor shaft.
(7) Rear axle as before but parts taken for 39-EX to be replaced by parts ex 39-EX. S/2N differential thrust washers. Wheel drivers S/ZNCR.
(8) Existing road wheels.
(9) Re-line foot brakes with M.L.2 to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}
Front brake idler levers to N.S.5121. Protection for bearings. Pieces available, as instructed by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}
Rubber stop on servo N.S.5164 with no air dash pot.
Stoneguard for intermediate shaft RR.Sch.1112.
Replace brake cables that show chafing.
Otherwise as before.
(10) Existing exhaust system with rubber suspension LeC5671.
(10a)Existing air silencer.
(11) Existing front wing stay fixings.
(12) Undersheets as instructed for 39-EX.
(13) Existing front suspension and dampers with needle rollers in place of bronze bushes.
Rear shock dampers with latest duprene glands as instructed by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie}
Front anchorage brackets and threaded shackle pins for rear springs S.C.D.11.
Existing rear shackles.
Existing springs.
Existing damper and roll rod connecting links, omitting locating washers on ball pins.
Packard rear axle buffers to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie}
