To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 509a Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/KW.2.11.36. Handwritten: LC Smith - I gave you some literature re this a little time ago from Germany - Where is this? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Typed: I saw in one of Hamilton's reports that they were attempting to rig up a vibration recording instrument. You will remember that when Dr. Zand (?) from the Sperry Co. in the U.S.A. was here, he mentioned that it was possible to purchase an inexpensive and simple instrument for recording vibrations. I should expect it would be much more economical to buy one of these instruments than to attempt to make one. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
