(3) OIL AND FUEL CONNECTIONS

Rolls-Royce agreed to accept for Group II the positions of oil and fuel connections as the Bristol Company now have them for the Short Stirling and the AW.41.

The Bristol Company agreed, however, to endeavour to revert to the existing S.B.A.C. standard positions of Group II and III for Issue 2.

It was agreed that A.G.S. couplings would remain the standard behind the bulkhead on Issue 1, but that the type of connection would be reconsidered for Issue 2.

It was agreed that Mr. Jewett and Mr. Cowdrey would discuss and settle the position of the loose panel applied to the bulkhead for pipe connections.

(4) ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

It was agreed that the Breeze 27 point plug would be accepted as the standard for Issue 1 Group II and Group III.

Mr. West desired that on Issue 2 the plugs should be reconsidered so as to have fewer points per plug. This was agreed.

(5) DEFINITION OF POWER EGG

It was agreed that this term should never be used, the correct definition being POWER PLANT, to comprise everything forward of and including the bulkhead less airscrew and spinner and airscrew controls.

(6) SHORT STIRLING - INTERCHANGEABILITY OF INNER AND OUTER NACELLES.

Messrs Rolls-Royce stated that it was impossible for them to achieve interchangeability between inner and outer nacelles owing to the difficulty with cowling arrangements.

(7) SPECIAL A.D.M. FOR POWER PLANT INSTALLATIONS.

Bristol Company stated they had done nothing so far regarding this matter.
It was agreed that Rolls-Royce would arrange a special meeting between the appropriate officials of the two Companies to discuss this.

(8) SUPPLY OF UNITS DIS. SPARE PART SCHEDULES AND PREPARE SCHEMES.

It was agreed that the officials directly responsible to the two Companies should get together to discuss unification of procedure regarding this matter.
