Re. memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.3/AP.17.4.37.

Replying to the above memo, we have received and fitted the single pressed blade fan to 3.B.IV.(LOP.EB.189). The Phantom III fan will be fitted when to hand.

Regarding the water joints between the water pump, the delivery bend, and the cylinder block on 6.B.IV. and 3.B.IV., we confirm that these are in Klingerite material and that no leaks have occurred at these points.

Regarding the seizure of the Delco-Remy distributor on 6.B.IV., which was experienced at Paris, Pennal reports that there was no shortage of lubrication. The spindle had picked up in the cast iron bearing. It also had no end clearance. There was no visible cause of the seizure.
