Replying to your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/KT.7.11.33 with respect to report Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}6/KT.7.11.33 I do not think that we can go to a larger diameter of thread than shown on LeC.3685 because of the danger of cracking the aluminium bar between the valve seats.
