To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} c. to RC{R. Childs}/CAP. 6142 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}9/JH.24.10.38. Dynamo off car 6.B.IV. The dynamo on Bentley car 6.B.IV. machine No. H9DBX has failed and been removed for repair. Will you please arrange for this machine to be thoroughly cleaned, including the bearings, and new brushes fitted. We think the machine will be found to be alright when cleaned, but it should be tested for insulation, and the bearings checked for slackness. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} | ||
