We appear to be making a more expensive front silencer and intermediate pipe on the 25 HP. than on the P.II, as the following sketches show. Left Sketch (P II): .104 imaculate stainless steel .080 staybrite .064 HR brown Right Sketch (25H): .104 imaculate stainless steel .092 staybrite .104 HR brown The thickness of the front silencer for the 25 HP. is .080" S.P.sch.3286 and the intermediate pipe on the 25 HP.; to By/SS{S. Smith}/19.11.31. In both cases it stated to be unlagged but as the test proved it was not possible to obtain silence without the lagging, therefore should it be necessary to have the more expensive material on the 25 HP.
