S/W Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 84117. C5/C19.1.32 Re Mr.Geoffrey Smith. Hsl/MJ15.1.32 ----- It is true Mr.Geoffrey Smith is having a new car; it is one of those with the dropped radiator. I should certainly have liked him to wait for the synchro-mesh gearbox and the increased power, but I am afraid it would be some three or four months hence before he could get delivery of a car at the present rate of sales, and he wants his car for Easter. I dare not tell him what we have in mind, in case rumours get abroad, although, as a matter of fact I do not think they would so far as he is concerned. I am afraid, however, he will have to have the present chassis. C. | ||
