Dear Sirs, With further reference to your letter of the 3rd. enclosing your piston drawing E.60632, we regret not having mentioned before that we are not fully conversant with the type of gudgeon pin you use for this particular engine, that is to say, is the pin locked in the small end of the connecting rod, or do you use a fully floating pin with end pads? If the former, we should be glad if you would let us have a sketch of this to enable us to quote immediately our designs are completed. Yours faithfully, FOR THE BIRMINGHAM ALUMINIUM CASTING (1903) CO LTD. MANAGER, PISTON DEPT. LONDON OFFICE: ABFORD HOUSE. WILTON ROAD. S.W.1. Telephone Victoria 1620. | ||
