| To C. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}8/KT.12.12.33. Replying to C5/C5.12.33. We hope to be able to send the Bentley blue car to London towards the end of next week. The streamlined car has been away at the coachbuilders and we only received it back yesterday. We have arranged for this car to go over to France tomorrow to get some timed speeds on Monthlery track. We shall then have completed our primary experiments on this car. On the blue car, 3.B.IV. we propose leaving one or two experimental features, such as Dural connecting rods and Textolite timing gears, because these are not visible, but on which we are anxious to get some running experience.
