RE. FIRTHS SPECIAL VALVE STEEL.

The 50 Valves now being machined in No.2 Shop will be finished, we hope, some time today, and we shall be in a position to hand these over to the Exptl. Dept. early tomorrow. I have instructed No.2 Shop to hand these to Mr.Coverley. In the meantime we are testing the additional bars of steel, and assuming tests are satisfactory, we shall commence forging again today, and a further supply should.be ready for machining in a few days.
