S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LTD. CONTINUATION SHEET.

W.A.Robotham, Esq.,

1.

These are the only samples which are worth while submitting to you and you will, I am afraid, be equally disappointed.

I am enclosing two drawings of Instrument Interiors, one being our own Speedometer movement and the second of the Radiator Thermometer, Oil Gauge and Petrol Gauge movements.

You will require drawing of the A.T. Speedometer - in accordance with your wishes we are conducting experiments in the endeavour to effect savings in cost but our ideas have not yet been finalized. Actually a new instrument has just been completed with the cheaper form of mileage assembly and this will be sent you tomorrow.

There is one other item in which you are interested - the small Electric Clock suitable for mounting in the body head or other convenient spot. Progress with this has been a little tedious due to the fact that the limited staff in this department has been recently engaged on urgent national work and it is necessary to claim your kind indulgence in the case of this instrument for a month or so.

As arranged, I hope to have the pleasure of visiting you at 12 noon on Thursday in company with Mr.Hurn, my Immediate Assistant. If you would like our Technical Representative, Mr.Arrowsmith, to be present might I trouble you to wire me on receipt of this letter.

Sincerely yours,

Charles W. Warwich
