R.{Sir Henry Royce} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X. 7080 SS.{S. Smith} Air Pump Silencer. Blueprint Lec.2659 herewith shews a proposed silencer for air pump connection on carburetter air inlet. We have endeavoured to make this as simple as possible and should have liked to secure the dome and banjo connection shewn in print by means of the existing stud that secures the air inlet to the carburetter. This however is not possible due to the nearness of the steering column so we used a special stud and facing for the purpose on inner face of air inlet. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
