Re: Chassis No.34-GN - Mr. Fairey.

We note the contents of your Lp{Mr Lappin}3/JL17.8.34.

The car has now arrived as arranged but the driver was unable to give us any information regarding what attention to the springs and shock absorbers was required. We have assumed, however, that there is nothing really wrong with the springing, but from our knowledge of Mr. Fairey we imagine that all that is required is to ensure that the shock damper poundages are up to the maximum suitable for fast driving.

We propose, therefore, to dismantle the shock dampers and test them from this point of view.

Will you please let us know if anything further is required.
