Dear Sirs,

We beg to confirm our Mr.Franks call upon you yesterday, and to thank your Mr.Warwick for the extended interview granted to him.

We understand from the letter we received from Mr.Franks this morning that you contemplate carrying out experiments with our Aeroplane Engine Oil. We may say that this is a very special article and one which we think most highly of, and we feel assured will give you unqualified satisfaction.

We note that your trials will comprise running an engine for at least 100 hours. We welcome this news, for we are of opinion that it is only by lengthy trials that the genuine qualities of an Oil can be ascertained.

The two five gallon drums which we sent you some time ago are, of course, useless for this purpose, and
