Re- Springing of R-R Cars.

Since I heard from you PH has taken up this question of springing with the Works and therefore it is better for me to leave it in his hands.

Also, with regard to his question as dealt with in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Emd of the 22nd of this month, I am endeavouring to get Eg to agree to the Continental type springs being fitted to the standard long type Phantom II chassis, because if this is to be done then it seems to immediately involve us in the fitting of additional shock absorbers as well, and we may have to include these free if we cannot get the customer to pay for something which appears to be a necessary accessory to that kind of springing.
