HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X1775 To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from BJ. Designing Dept. Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Copy to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Copy to Rs.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary} We do not want the strike to hang up the progress of our Designing work more than is necessary. Would it be of any assistance if a car ran daily to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town? Every day is of the utmost importance both in regard to our aero engines and our cars. Possibly if officials at the Works find they cannot make progress with their usual work at Derby, they may wish to visit West WitteringHenry Royce's home town to talk matters over with R.{Sir Henry Royce} This might be a good time to do so.
