To BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG6.10.25. x535 RE. FIAT CAR. x535 / 4631 We should very much like Mr. Robotham to try the 40 HP. Fiat car. He will be in London on Monday and Tuesday (12th. and 13th. inst.) For the trial of the Fiat car to be of any use, Mr. Robotham would wish to drive the car himself and would want to run the car for one or two hours so that he would have sufficient time to take it outside the London traffic. During our last visit to W.W. the question of buying another make of car was raised by R.{Sir Henry Royce} It was tentatively agreed that we should look round the Motor Show to get some idea of the best car to buy. The cars suggested were - Alfa Romeo and the Fiat. The car we think we ought to take an interest in is the new 6-cyl. sleeve valve Vauxhall. We know that Mr. Ricardo has been working on this engine for a considerable time. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
