We do not propose sending a standardisation sheet through for this. in view of A.F.S. letter of the 26-6-26 This was fitted with a new of experiment to see whether there was any mechanical trouble with the decreased area of clutch fabrics so that A.J.S could have information for a new design of clutch he is working upon.
The dia of present clutch fabric is O.S. 13.800" I.S. 10.450"
The dia of fabrics fitted to 12 EX is O.S. 13.200" I.S. 10.450"

This was run 10000 miles in France on 12 EX
There was no sign of the clutch slipping throughout the test. and clutch was smooth in action. no alteration to clutch spring pressure was needed.
