x.3461 L To En. from Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} BY9/F2.-.3.20. X.2565 - CHASSIS PARTS WHICH ARE HELD UP AFTER CHASSIS 1000. I have gone carefully through the whole position again and find that the parts we require releasing after chassis 1000 are as follows :- X.1613 (4) Section 7190, Switchbox on Instrument Board. If we continue with the Lucas scheme the switchbox will automatically be settled with the dynamo. X.3461b.(5) Section 7150, Rear Shock Absorber. We would like to know whether there is any chance of the shock absorber experiments being rought to such a stage that we shall be able to supply same on chassis before long. X.2778c.(6) Section 7360, Wiring general. At the moment this particular section is the one which raised most doubts in our minds as to difficulties cropping up. We are anxious to have a scheme which corresponds exactly with our present one, but merely differs from same in regard to using smaller diameter Glover wires. In this particular connection I would add that I feel sure that Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} will definitely require a standardisation sheet for the proposal to change the diameter of the cables themselves.
