C O P Y. 12th July 21 Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Nightingale Road, Derby. Dear Sirs, Referring to memorandum No.2507, dated 2nd June 1921, from your Inspection Department, I am sending you this day by registered post a parcel containing thirteen "Prima" Sparking Plugs, viz:- 6 for Magneto ignition gap ½-m.m. 6 for Battery ignition gap ½-m.m. 1 for dismantling and examination. 13 I should feel much obliged if you would test these Plugs and ascertain whether they are as good, or better, than any that you have yet come across. The Manufacturers and Patentees are prepared to sell their rights for the United Kingdom, or to arrange terms for the manufacture and/or sale of these Plugs on a very favourable basis for the purchasers; so that in the event of your considering that this Plug is of outstanding merit you would be in a position to take such advantage of the proposition as you might think fit. I shall be glad to hear from you in due course. Yours truly, (Signed) GEORGE ROBERTS. N.B. The above is not an actual copy of the original letter, but the letter sent to you on the 12th July was substantially worded as above. | ||
